UBot Studio Support Technician

 

 

About the Position:


Do you like helping people? We are looking for someone to provide quality scripting support and second and third level technical support via our support portal by email and through skype and our forum occasionally. Being a UBot Studio guru is required for this person to succeed and complete their job most effectively. 

 

 

 

Role and Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist users with questions regarding how UBot Studio functions, what individual commands do and how they work, as well as suggest methods and ideas for scripting and building a variety of bots.

  • Provide one-on-one instruction on use and application of products, answer questions, ask probing questions to determine customer's configuration and needs and makes recommendations regarding product selection to current or prospective customers .

  • Work on issues that range from answering product questions to providing basic to very complex technical support when user is experiencing difficulty using a product.

  • Keep current with product knowledge regarding features and functionality, as well as billing and promotional programs 

  • May participate in Beta testing of both new and existing products.

 

 


Duration:

 

This is an ongoing role. Your success with this position may lead to future positions as well as an expansion of this position.

 

 

Experience Required:

 

  • Obviously, our customers demand secrecy and require that their projects be kept under wraps, so your ability to maintain strict confidence regarding projects is key.

  • Strong experience with UBot Studio’s Professional or Developer Edition required – applicants should have experience building and potentially selling complex bots and be extremely familiar with UScript.

  • Strong understanding of Windows Operation Systems such as Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 as well as  a working knowledge of Windows Server operating systems.

  • Experience assisting others via our forum or Skype is strongly recommended.

  • Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript required.

  • Solid understanding of SEO and Internet Marketing concepts

  • Strong experience supporting users via other online systems recommended.

  • Experience with Kayako Resolve software recommended.

  • Ability to gauge support to user’s skill level and technical knowledge a plus.

  • Experience with troubleshooting and solving issues in a fast-paced environment strongly desired.

  • Demonstrated ability to listen, assess, and determine and communicate corrective measures.

  • English-writing proficiency is required. Bilingual skills in other languages a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with demonstrated ability to learn quickly.

  • Self-starter who is not afraid to ask questions or seek out information. Must also be a team player who can work effectively in a time-sensitive, dynamic environment, without constant structure.
